7 Simple Killer Content Ideas to Post on Social Media this Week

Running out of social media ideas to post?

Trying to come up with an idea isn’t easy; what to eat, where to go, what to do. The same goes with content ideas.

‘Til now!

We’re giving you 7 simple, yet killer and effective social media content ideas for each day of the week. So, let’s start off with everyone’s favourite day… ✨Monday✨

Monday: Motivational Quote

Monday’s a difficult day of the week for most people. After all, recovering from a weekend hangover is definitely not easy. So why not get back into it with a motivating quote to get the week started.

Here’s an example of what we’ve posted in the past:

Tuesday: Tips

Because who doesn’t love a quick tip?! This is a great way to teach your audience about something you’ve learned.

For example, #TechTipTuesday is a series we post every week. We highlight our favourite tips like tools to help you write a business plan and how to add music on Snapchat. Here’s more inspo you can gather from our full tech tip collection.

Wednesday: Write a Blog

Blogs are a great way to expand your brand’s visibility. There are many different topics you could write about, informing and educating your audience on a product, service, or topic. You could even expand more on your tech tip, making it a longer info piece.

BONUS: Hit 2 birds with one stone —your blog content can be repurposed for social media posts!

Thursday: Show & Tell

People love to see visuals. Show your products or services in a video or a series of photos. You can show step-by-steps, or list and talk about the benefits you offer. Think of this as a show and tell with an emphasis on the show.

A great opportunity to help your audience understand what you’re all about.

Friday: Post a Testimonial

People also like to see results! If someone leaves you a 5-star review or a generous comment, this is great content you can use. Simply re-create your written review into a picture that is eye-catching so that people can see that others recommend you.

Here’s what we’ve done:

Saturday: Post a Poll or Question Box

Most social platforms have a comment section where people can voice their opinions. Asking something your audience can have a say in is a great way to generate engagement. You can get a sense of what the majority of your audience wants to see or is interested in, and build your content based on their answers.

Sunday: A Sit-down

Your content doesn’t have to be ALL work-based.

Following themes like ‘Sunday Funday’ is another way to connect with your followers. Disconnect from the work-life! Show a day-in-the-life, what you eat in a day, or what your workspace looks like as you prepare for Monday.
