How to Add a Partner to your Facebook Page

Our goal at Liddleworks is always to ensure as seamless a working relationship as possible. Now that we’re on your team, we want to help do the heavy lifting when it comes to your social media! Granting us Partner Access through your Facebook Business Manager will allow us to share assets and post with ease.

And don’t worry, you’ll be able to assign specific permission levels to make sure that no matter who you add as a Partner, they will be restricted to movement within your account based on the parameters you set!

Getting Started: What you Need to Know About Granting Partner Access

As the admin, you are the only person who can grant access to your business Facebook page and ad account. You may not have set up your own Business Manager, but at this juncture, we recommend you do. This will ensure that all your assets and ad accounts are connected and managed in one place.

Now that you know who you want to grant access to, they’ll have to have a Business Manager, and at Liddleworks, we do! And you’ll need to know your partner’s business ID (check for this in the email we sent requesting Partner access).

How to Add Liddleworks as a Partner to your Facebook Page and Ad Accounts

Simply follow these seven steps and your partner will be able to see the assets you’ve assigned them in Business Manager:

  1. Go to Business Settings.
  2. Choose the asset you’d like to assign, like your Facebook Page or Ad Account
  3. Under Users, click on Partners
  4. Click + Add.
  5. Select “Give a partner access to your assets”.
  6. Enter the Partner Business ID you want to add and click Next.
  7. Here is where you’ll be able to add partners to multiple assets. Choose a type of asset in the first column, then select the assets you want to add your partner to in the second column. Next, assign a role for your partner in the third column and repeat these steps until you’ve chosen roles for all of the assets you want to assign.
  8. Don’t forget to Save Changes!

You’re all set. Once you’ve done this step, be sure to email us to let us know!
